First Penance and Eucharist

First Communion Students are catechized and prepared to receive the Body and the Blood of Jesus Christ during the second grade. First Communion takes place in the spring of second grade. As part of their preparation for the Sacrament of the Eucharist, they prepare for and receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation a few months prior to First Communion.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation or Confession is available on Tuesday and Thursday Mornings at St. Denis Church from 7:15-7:45 AM, Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:00 PM at St. Margaret Mary Parish and on Saturdays 3:45-4:15 PM at both St. Denis Church and St. Margaret Mary Church.

Confirmation for High School Students

Confirmation Preparation is moving to a one year program in 2024-2025. This year, 10th grade students attending Catholic schools will be assimilated into our program after February vacation 2025. Confirmation Preparation includes attendance and participation in the scheduled meetings, Mass attendance, service, selecting a sponsor, choosing a Confirmation name, participation in a Confirmation retreat, the opportunity to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation, participation in the rehearsal for the Rite of Confirmation, and participation in the Confirmation liturgy.

Adult Confirmation

Any post-high school adults are welcome to participate in our OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation for Adults) program. Come, meet with our team on a weekly basis and together we will walk you into our faith with education, formation, witness, companionship and friendship.
